LiverAIz history
LiverAIz, Inc. is a spin-off company founded by a surgical research team from Samsung Medical Center. Since the late 2010s, we have consistently worked to improve the quality of life for both patients and medical professionals by implementing 3D modeling technology and 3D printing in the field of hepatology. Building upon years of accumulated technical expertise and know-how, LiverAIz, Inc. was established in 2024 to more actively pursue advancements in healthcare.
2024
- Commenced joint research development of 3D printing solutions for breast reconstruction with Samsung Medical Center
- Initiated collaborative research on augmented reality solutions for hepatic tumor resection with Samsung Medical Center and CHA Bundang Medical Center
- Official establishment of LiverAIz, Inc.
2023
- Initiated multi-center study with Seoul National University Hospital on 3D printed abdominal cavity models for liver transplant recipients
- Launched multi-center study with 10 domestic hospitals on 3D modeling-based hepatectomy, sponsored by the Korean Association of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery
2022
- Joint development of AI model for automatic 3D modeling based on CT, MRI, and MRCP imaging with Samsung Medical Center
2021
- Co-developed 3D printed surgical guides for hepatectomy with Samsung Medical Center
2020
- Validated surgical phantom for hepatectomy with Samsung Medical Center
- Commenced joint research with Samsung Medical Center and AnyMedi Solution, Inc. for development of patient-specific silicone stents to prevent biliary complications in living donor liver transplantation
- Developed 3D printed abdominal cavity models for liver transplant recipients in collaboration with Samsung Medical Center to enhance transplantation safety

- Initiated surgical planning verification service based on 3D modeling in collaboration with Samsung Medical Center
